Enjoy a walk down Memory Lane.
I have been collecting Postcards [most from 1910-1930] and other cards from 1930’s and 1940’s.
Thought these were kinda cool from 1941, reminiscent of a simpler time.this one is flocked on the street light with only the lower left hand corner missing.
Here is another one so simple and soft winter scene and inside a wish for true happiness.
And what could be cuter than a puppy with a red leash wishing you a Merry Christmas?
Here is my favorite of all, left by the milkman attached to the bottle of milk by the hole in the top. Still flocked red and clear as when it was left.I added the red paper behind so you could see the detail on the card better. None of these have a copyright written on them and only the Santa one has an artist listed “melva”
Love the name of the farm “Idlenot Farm” and the little boy’s dropseat pajamas!
Have you started to think about your Christmas cards yet? I have been thinking about designing mine and getting ready to make them. It is never too soon when you make your own! I seem to always be last-minute even though I try to get them done early sometimes the best laid plans……………..
Have fun ! peg
