Love the pink hue for shabby pink wedding flowers and when it is paired with worn and vintage accessories the look is wonderfully shabby and oh so romantic.
This past week we celebrated Valentine’s Day and what a great day it was. I spent the whole day wrapping flowers for my gracious customers! I so love my work! In the retail business we don’t finish one season before we begin another so while we were doing valentine flowers we were also working on homecoming and wedding flowers. Which says spring is surely on its way!!!! Here is a wonderful vintage Pink chair with a hanging bouquet cone I did for a shabby pink wedding flowers display.Wouldn’t these pink chairs would be an awesome wedding prop with flowers on them?
For the Homecoming-Nothing is Shabby. On to some flowers to wear. When the wire bling hit the flower trade I must say I didn’t embrace it but lately I am having so much fun with it! Below are some recent Prom /Homecoming Flowers to wear. This wristlet was for a girl wearing black and white and we gave it a pink contrast for fun and interest.
The wristlet below is made with red roses for the client wearing all black, and what fun! Her date also wore all black, notice his boutonniere.
This post shares both shabby pink wedding flowers and prom flower bling!
Why should prom flowers look like wedding flowers? They shouldn’t, they should be more youthful and more fun with pizzazz and excitement.! Can’t wait for the students that come for their prom flowers I hope they like something different and we can mix it up a bit! Special occasion flowers can be so much fun. A place to express your own personal style. Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day and have a great weekend! I am sharing this post on Pink Saturday over at Beverly’s How Sweet the Sound. peg
