I have been so missing in action due to a decision my Husband and I made in August. Drumroll Please…………
We decided to stop the constant traveling and loading of the truck doing shows and open a retail shop. We are not new to operating a retail shops but now that we are “older” the work was much harder and it took so so much longer!
Of course we rented a space in a vintage building and it needed everything! This picture actually doesn’t show how dusty and dirty the place was as it had been vacant 5 years.
But we did it, and Friday Night we had our “soft opening” during the annual “Midnight Madness” in the town where we are located.
The reasons we did this are many but one of the most important was to be able to teach classes and workshops in painting furniture with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint and other crafts to both adults and kids. I am psyched at the response and can’t wait to start having classes.
I’ll be working on this website more also as we have access to all our stock since it is on display in the store 24/7
We’re still working on the space but here but this was how it looksd during our “soft opening” This weekend December 6th begins our official Grand Opening and continues till the 13th of December with lots of demos and classes and give aways!
So happy to have a big enough space to spread out in and have a classroom set up all the time!
